This is a great book for anyone of any age to read. It puts the reader in the middle of the family feeling the deep loss of a son/brother/solder. It blends well the emotions of those left behind with fascinating facts from the Pacific front in WWII. I was quickly drawn in by the letters and getting to hear the stories behind them. Wonderful book!
